(official homepage) Soprano Bauwien van der Meer, guitar player Annedee Jaeger (together Duo Artica) and cellist Joris van Haaften established the Eisler Trio in 2011. They play their own arrangements of music from the Interwar period by, among others, Eisler, Weill and Villa-Lobos. In 2012 they issued their first cd: Es wechseln die Zeiten.
In collaboration with East 74 and theatre director Thomas van der Ham they created a theatre play named: Youkali.
January 2014, the Eisler Trio presented together with vocal quartet Quatre Bouches The William Blake Experience, a multimediaproject about the ‘Songs of Innocence and Experience’ by William Blake, which were put to music especially for these two ensembles by the dutch composer Harke Jan van der Meulen. Sie spielen Kompositionen aus dem Interbellum von unter anderen Hanns Eisler, Kurt Weill und Heitor Villa-Lobos in eigenen Arrangementen. In 2012 brachten sie ihre erste CD heraus: Es wechseln die Zeiten.
In Zusammenarbeit mit East 74 und dem Theaterregisseur Thomas van der Ham kreierten sie in 2012 die Theatervorstellung Youkali.
Januar 2014 präsentierte das Eisler Trio zusammen mit dem vokalen Quartett Quatre Bouches die CD „The William Blake Experience“, ein Multimediaprojekt um die „Songs of Innocence and of Experience“ von William Blake, die vom Komponisten Harke Jan van der Meulen auf Musik gesetzt wurden für die zwei Ensemblen.
