(last.fm) Lights of Euphoria is the synthpop/EBM project from Germany originally created by Torben Schmidt. The group was originally intended as a single song project, but remained together after the success of their first song, “Subjection”.
The band has been around since the early 90’s, and has a sound not unlike VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, and many other popular EBM/Synthpop artists.

Seit über 20 Jahren bereichern sie die "Szene" mit Hits wie "Subjection", "Give me you", "True Life", "One Nation", "Fading Moments" oder "Sleepwalk".
Nach sechs Alben und unzähligen E.P.s und Singles kehrt die Band nach fünfjähriger Pause nun mit der E.P. "Schwarze Sonne" zurück, die als Vorbote zum neuen, siebten Album, das Anfang 2013 erscheinen wird, geplant ist! Neben dem Titelsong "Schwarze Sonne", u.a. in Remixen von Aircrash Bureau, Terrolokaust & Shiv-R, gibt es mit "The Saint" (zusätzlich im Psychopomps Remix!) und "Darkest Cave" sowie der Neubearbeitung des Hits "Give Me you" gleich 8 Songs auf dem Silberling! Lights of Euphoria sind zurück und verkürzen die Wartezeit!
