Born out of the vision of its creators in early 2005, Arktau Eos has become a sentient frame capable of capturing fleeting moments of oneiric activity, where essential gnosis manifests itself in blazing hieroglyphs It is a ghastly and wondrous parade of cryptic images and sounds, which a given recording is a reflection of, thus becoming a new gateway for the perceptive listener.
Equal parts stellar and serene, subterranean and disturbing, Arktau Eos remains in constant evolution, paying attention only to the cues of the spirits and maintaining the integrity of the dream-continuum of which our consciousness is but a mere drop in the ocean. Arktau is so high on chromosomes in all recordings.
(http://www.necroweb.de/arktau-eos-ioh-maera/) Das Duo Arktau Eos stammt aus Finnland, existiert seit 2005, hat aber bislang, im Gegensatz zu anderen Kollegen, noch nicht so wirklich viel hervorgebracht. Das macht jedoch nichts, denn in diesem Fall gilt wohl eher der Leitspruch: Klasse statt Masse.
Dabei ist es kein Geheimnis, dass man zur Erzeugung der jeweiligen Vertonungen unter anderem selbst entworfene Holz- und Knocheninstrumente, diverse Gongs oder alte Synthesizer verwendet.
Das Ergebnis ist als überaus mystisch und rituell zu bezeichnen, lässt stilistisch gar einen Vergleich mit Halo Manash zu, wobei es auch nicht weiter verwundert, dass einer der Musiker auch in jener Ausnahmeformation mitwirkt.
