In less than a decade, Dark-Metal-group Lord Of The Lost has become one of the most well-established and prolific acts of the international scene. Founded in 2007 by Chris Harms, initially as a solo-project, the Hamburg-based band has long since been on conquering course in the line-up of Harms (vocals, guitar), Class Grenayde (bass), π (guitar), Gared Dirge (piano, synths, percussion) and Niklas Kahl (drums.)
The group's sound has always been a sort of wild ride through a myriad of different dark genres, yet marked by a constant process of reinvention and an eternal clinch of melodies, aggression and emotions. Chris Harms rides his sonic juggernaut with vocal prowess and an ever-impressive range of styles that can abruptly leap from a sonorous clear singing voice to brutal death growls or wild screaming. With effortless grace, Lord Of The Lost manage to tackle quite contrasting musical extremes, incorporating ballads with hit-potential, harsh Metalcore-attacks, pompous concept albums and a soft spot for the outré, as exemplified in songs like the Latin-Metal-crossover-fun “La Bomba”, into their trademark sound. It is little wonder, then that not even the symphonic excursions with their classically grounded Lord Of The Lost Ensemble on “Swan Songs” and the accompanying shows seemed like a contradiction to their wildly rocking regular releases like “Die Tomorrow” or “From The Flame Into The Fire”, but rather like two logical sides of the same coin. On their 2016 release “Empyrean”, they have tried their hands at creating an Industrial-Metal-Space-Opera and, instead of falling victim to their own ambitions, they actually managed to funnel their ass-kicking power into a captivating concept work.
Live, Lord Of The Lost are one of a kind. In terms of showmanship, relentless stage energy, an accessible presence and sheer madness, the five Hamburg-based lads will give most current bands a serious run for their money. Lord-Of-The-Lost concerts are grand happenings of sweat, sex and rock'n'roll that have the group's international fan base increase with each and every tour … and there is no stage from Berlin to Moscow to Helsinki that the group has not thoroughly rocked into the ground. In 2017 Lord Of The Lost have released their second ensemble-album "Swan Songs II" and are now about to release the new full-power-rock-album "Thornstar" on August 3rd 2018.

10 Jahre LORD OF THE LOST – 10 Jahre kein Stillstand!
Lord Of The Lost feiern ihr 10-jähriges Band-Jubiläum mit gleich zwei Live-Shows in Hamburg, ein mal „laut“ und ein mal „leise“!
Im Januar 2009 stand zum ersten mal die Hobbyband „Lord“ auf der winzigen Bühne des Schweriner Restaurants „Zeppelin“. Ohne steile Karriereziele vor Augen und ohne große Deals in der Tasche. Chris Harms und seine vier Mitstreiter wollten nur eines: Zusammen Musik machen, ohne Vorschriften und ohne Kompromisse. Die Bühne war kaum groß genug, um alle Bandmitglieder samt ihrer Instrumente zu fassen. Kurze Zeit später folgte der erste Auftritt unter dem Namen „Lord Of The Lost“, der erste Plattenvertrag und das 2010 veröffentlichte Debut-Album „Fears“. Ungefähr 10 Jahre sind seither vergangen – doch auch sechs Studioalben, zwei Klassik-Ensemble-Alben, mehr als 25 Musikvideos und viele hundert Konzerte später hat sich eines niemals geändert: Vorschriften und Kompromisse kennen Lord Of The Lost nach wie vor nicht, sie bewegen sich frei, teilweise fast schon dreist, innerhalb ihrer vielen weitläufigen Genre-Rahmen, zwischen Metal und Goth, Klassik und Pop, Electro und Rock. Stillstand kennen Lord Of The Lost nicht und das wird sich auch nach 10 Jahren nicht ändern. Aber zumindest zwei besondere Abende lang soll innegehalten werden um diesen Meilenstein mit zwei Konzerten zu feiern, ein mal gewohnt laut, dreckig und verzerrt, mit der Rock-Show in der Hamburger Markthalle am 7. Dezember 2019 und einmal leise, gefühlvoll und klassisch, mit dem gesamten Lord Of The Lost Ensemble, am 8. Dezember 2019 in der Friedrich-Ebert-Halle zu Hamburg-Harburg. 10 Jahre Lord Of The Lost, zwei Konzerte, ein Erlebnis!
