(facebook) Terminal Gods are a four piece rock combo from North London. Since the release of their début 7" single, Electric Eyes, the band have touted their high energy, heavy leather, drum machine driven hard rock across the UK. January 2013 sees the release of their second 7", Lessons in Fire, supported by shows in the UK and on mainland Europe.
They seek to harmonise their primary influences of dark, dramatic post-punk with ruthless, brazen rock and roll. A combination which is strongly reflected in their slick, yet unapologetically raucous gigs and releases.
(http://www.infrarot.de/terminal-gods/electric-eyes/2011086) Nach ihrer Gründung im Sommer 2011 und einer selbst produzierten Demo-EP, die in UK für Aufsehen sorgte, möchten Terminal Gods mit ihrer Debüt-Vinylsingle "Electric Eyes" nun auch das europäische Festland erobern. Gesanglich und musikalisch könnten Terminal Gods als Erben der Sisters of Mercy gelten, dabei ist die Band allerdings weit davon entfernt, eine bloße Kopie zu sein.
Mit einem Sound und der damit einhergehenden Atmosphäre, die durchaus auch in den 80ern aufgenommen sein könnte, beweisen Cowlin am Mikrophon, Maisey und Cooper an den Gitarren und Katie am Bass, dass man auch heute noch sehr guten traditionellen Goth Rock machen kann.
