Estetica Noir is an inner need, a passion, a child who still writes the logos of his favouritebands in his school diary, an escape route, but above all, it is to write songs in a world now bound mostly by sounds and software. Estetica Noir is a project started in 2013 by Silvio and Rik, who have always been tied to wave/electrorock/industrial sounds and in particular to bands such as Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Depeche Mode and Killing Joke, just to name 4 of the thousands of names they continue to collect on their shelves full of CDs and vinyl records.

From that moment, after some inevitable natural and physiological changes of the line-up, Estetica Noir released a self-titled Ep with Genotype Records in 2014 and 2 albums with the Red Cat label (“Purity”-2017 and “This Dream In Monochrome”-2022).

In April 2024 the album “Amor Fati” was released for Swiss Dark Nights Records, produced by Riccardo Sabetti (This Eternal Decay, Spiral 69).

Among the various memorable experiences the following stand out:

• The numerous concerts in Northern Italy with prestigious opening-acts for renowned bands such as Christian Death, Frozen Autumn, Norma Loy, Whispering Sons, Zen Circus but above all a mini-tour in France and Belgium with praise beyond all expectations.
• Two tracks in the trailer and soundtrack of Riccardo Iacopino’s film “Al Massimo Ribasso”, with the participation of Luciana Littizzetto.
• Presence in 7 world-class compilations, alongside the major names of past and current goth acts, and 2 Italian compilations (including one curated by Ghigo Renzulli, one of the founding members of the band Litfiba).
