Dystopian Society is a dark post-punk project born in Florence at the end of 2010.
Since then they played several gigs and released a s/t EP (2011), “Cages” LP (2012) and "Violations" EP (2013).
The second album, “Overturned Reality” (2015), is a continuation of the concept: a gloomy sonic landscape with bursts of rage describing the dystopia we are living in, with a strong vein of mysticism.

Dystopian Society spielen Dark/Post-Punk und wurden Ende 2010 in Florenz ins Leben gerufen. Furore machte bereits die erste Veröffentlichung des Albums „Cages“. Die kraftvolle Mischung aus Punk und old School Goth/Deathrock führte die Band durch ganz Europa, sowohl auf eigener Tour als auch im Vorprogramm vieler international bekannter Bands. Ihr zweites Album, „Overturned Reality“, führt das inhaltliche Konzept der Band weiter: Dunkle Tonlandschaften, durch die wütende Böen fegen und die die Dystopie in unser aller Leben sehr beschreibt. Mystizismus ist ein wesentliches Element, das seit „Cages“ das Schaffen der Italiener beschreibt.
