Emerging from underneath the fumes of Rotterdam’s vast industrial harbour comes Dool . Dutch for ‘wandering’, DOOL takes their audience on an otherworldly journey through dark, melancholic songs, allowing only the faintest glimpse of hope and light to penetrate the listeners’ minds. When formed out of the ashes of Dutch rockbands Elle Bandita and The Devil’s Blood in late 2015, DOOL quickly gained a following after releasing their first song and accompanying video ‘Oweynagat’, resulting in both a highlighted showcase at Roadburn festival as well as a record deal with German ‘Prophecy Productions’. Their praised debut album ‘Here Now, There Then’ was released in February 2017, followed by two succesful European tours any many festival shows in the same year.
Dool will be bringing Austrian post black metallers Harakiri For The Sky with them as a special guest. They will be presenting their upcoming record “Arson”, which will be out on February 16th, 2018.

Dool ist eine niederländische Rockband. Ihr Musikstil wird zwischen Progressive Rock und Doom Metal mit Einflüssen aus Psychedelic Rock und Gothic Rock angesiedelt.
Mitglieder der Band sind neben Sängerin Ryanne van Dorst Bassist Job van de Zande und Schlagzeuger Micha Haring (beide ehemals The Devil’s Blood) und die beiden Gitarristen Nick Polak und Reinier Vermeulen. Sängerin Ryanne van Dorst ist intersexuell und trat bereits zuvor als Gitarristin der Band Bad Candy und Entertainerin unter dem Pseudonym Elle Bandita in Erscheinung. Als Haupteinflüsse nennen die Musiker The Sisters of Mercy sowie Sonic Youth. Einem überregionalen Publikum wurde die Gruppe bei einem Auftritt beim Roadburn Festival 2016 bekannt, es folgte ein Plattenvertrag mit Prophecy Productions. Das Debütalbum Here Now, There Then erschien im Februar 2017 und erreichte Platz 46 der deutschen Albumcharts. Im Frühjahr 2017 war Dool als Vorband der polnischen Folkrock-Band Me and That Man auf Tournee durch Europa, im Sommer folgte die Summer of the She Goat-Tour.
