Debut release by SUIR, a Frankfurt (Germany) based duo consisting of Lucia Seiss and Denis Wanic.
At the beginning of 2016, they joined forces. The result is a mixture of Shoegaze, Cold Wave, Dark Wave and Post Punk that perfectly meets today´s zeitgeist but still remains independent enough to create its own unique sound. The music is expanded by a visual program which is strongly influenced by the origin of the two from the fields of art history and philosophy and builds a filigree and gloomy overall concept.
Ater was released May 18th on vinyl and digital by Black Verb Records. The now released EXTENDED tape version includes 26 minutes of previously unreleased bonus material which was written after the actual release of Ater.

Anfang 2016 schlossen sich Denis Wanic und Lucia Seiß zu ihrem Bandprojekt "SUIR" zusammen. In gemeinsamer Arbeit entstand dabei eine Mischung aus Shoegaze, Coldwave, Dark Wave und Post-Punk, die genau den aktuellen Zeitgeist trifft, aber trotzdem eigenständig genug bleibt um besonders zu sein. Ihre Musik wird dabei von einem visuellen Programm erweitert, das stark durch die Herkunft der Beiden aus den Bereichen der Kunstgeschichte und Philosophie geprägt ist und ein filigran-düsteres Gesamtkonzept entstehen lässt.
Nach ihrem Live-Debut, das sie zusammen mit den Bands Schwefelgelb und Bleib Modern absolvierten, wurden sie vom Berliner Label "Black Verb // Records" unter Vertrag genommen.
Ihr Debutalbum, gemastert von Bleib Modern Frontmann Philipp Läufer, erschien am 18. Mai 2017 als Vinyl und wurde am 30. Juli 2017 vom UK-Label "Death Of A Factor" auf Kassette erneut veröffentlicht.
