Iamtheshadow is a musical project that began in 2015 by the Portuguese musician Pedro Code (The Dream Collision and Rainy Days Factory). The artistic influences of Iamtheshadow are varied and navigate the blackest and sharpest sounds of the 80s. Iamtheshadow is modern dark romance, where melody and words touch deeply perpetuating the desire that crosses and overcomes fear .

Freunde von Electro Wave sollten sich IAMTHESHADOW anschauen, die wohl Freunde bei den WGT-Organisatoren haben müssen. Die Portugiesen haben bisher nur ein Album – Everything In This Nothingness (2016) – veröffentlicht und sind auch bei keinem bekannten Label im Stall. Ihre Musik, beatlastig, melancholisch und mit viel Synthie-Atmosphäre kann sich aber hören lassen. Insbesondere die Stimme von Sänger und Mastermind Pedro Code wird die Damen zum Schmelzen bringen.
