Redefining The Paradigm Of Bang is the best description for this 100% club compatible Techno Industrial project by the two sound artists and producers Andreas “Thedi” Thedens and Harm Bremer. While this project is based in Lüneburg, the album demonstrates that there is more than simply calm and beautiful landscapes and curly black haired sheep called “Heidschnucken” in the Lüneburg Heath. If you dive-bomb into the subsurface blow-hole you will find yourself in the middle of a wired rebellion and even cross the way of an anthropoid on the run: the 13th Monkey.
All 13th Monkey tracks are completely constructed using an array of tabletop hardware instruments programmed in real-time without the use of overdubbing, the mainstay of this project’s energetic live sets, in a style self hailed as, Digital Tech Fractures. Expect bass-driven and pounding tech-industrial tracks with distorted and screaming acid-like 303 sounds as extra ingredients.

13th Monkey ist ein deutsches elektronisches Musikprojekt von Andreas "Thedi" Thedens und Harm Bremer aus Lüneburg, Niedersachsen.
Das Musikprojekt wurde 2006 gegründet. Zwischen 2006 und 2010 veröffentlichten 13th Monkey Live-Alben von ihren Auftritten. Weiterhin pielten sie bereits auf mehreren Musikfestivals wie im August 2007 beim Infest Festival in Bradford in England. Am 31. Oktober 2009 veröffentlichten sie ihr Labeldebüt "Redefining The Paradigm Of Bang" beim Dortmunder Label Hands Productions. Im März 2010 traten sie beim Elektroanschlag Festival in Altenburg, im April 2010 beim FORMS OF HANDS Festival und im November 2010 beim Maschinenfest in Oberhausen auf. Am 12. Juni 2011 folgte mit "Return Of The Monkey" das zweite Album bei Hands Productions pünktlich zum Auftritt beim Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. Im April 2012 und April 2015 traten 13th Monkey erneut beim FORMS OF HANDS Festival auf.
Andreas Thedens gründete Ende der 1990er Jahre das Elektro-Industrial-Projekt KiEw (Kotze Im Einkaufswagen). Nach zwei Albeneigenveröffentlichungen folgte 2001 das Labeldebüt "Divergent" über Out Of Line. Bis 2010 folgten drei weitere Alben über Out Of Line. Harm Bremer gründete 2003 das Kollektiv Sonic Fiction in Lüneburg. 2004 gründete er das gleichnamige Label. Mit Jan Torge Claussen war er als Klangaquarium aktiv. 2004 veröffentlichten sie das Album "Wata Yuka". Andreas Thedens ist gemeinsam mit Candy Schlüer (16Pad Noise Terrorist) als 13pnt16mnky/Noisepad Monkey aktiv.
